Shanghai Stadium

The project is located in Shanghai, China and is one of the designated venues for the FIFA Club World Cup. It has a building area of 170000 square meters and a seating capacity of 72000 people. It is one of the world's largest sports stadiums. The lighting upgrade started in 2021 and was completed in 2022. The upgraded content includes the lighting of the building facade and roof, as well as the lighting for on-site events. A total of approximately 6856 sets of various lighting fixtures were installed, including 6223 sets for architectural landscape lighting and 633 sets for stadium lighting. In the design process, the lighting cleverly utilized the overall structure of the building's circular outer ring and elliptical inner ring, forming a wave like saddle shape. The lighting is like a "jade clam with pearls". The lighting standards for the stadium and spectator stands comply with the Class V international standard outlined in the 5th edition of the FIFA Football Stadiums Technical Recommendations and Requirements, and are capable of meeting the requirements for high-definition television broadcasting.
