Jiamin Elevated Road, originally named Auxiliary Expressway and West Suburb Elevated Road, is part of the "one longitudinal and three transverse" rapid evacuation system supporting the Shanghai Hongqiao Integrated Transportation Hub. It runs 36 kilometers from the S6 Shanghai-Xiang Highway in the north to the S32 Shenjiahu Highway in the south. It is a key supporting road for traffic relief from the Hongqiao Hub and plays a significant role in the Greater Hongqiao living area.
Large-scale lighting design:
From the north to Jiamin Elevated Road and Beizhai Elevated Road, and south to the G50 Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway.
Bridge body:
Utilizing the varied colors and slow rhythm of the lighting to highlight the continuous and smooth lines of the bridge; the lighting can change with different times, seasons, and themes, adding to the festive atmosphere of the import expo.
The entire elevated road has layers of light and shadow from both longitudinal and transverse perspectives, comparable to the speeding traffic flow.
Key and important lighting areas have been designated for the Minhang section of Jiamin Elevated Road to highlight the primary and secondary levels of the lighting and its focal points.
The section of Jiamin Elevated Road from Songze Elevated Road to Jianhong Road Elevated Road serves as a key lighting area, creating a festive atmosphere for the upcoming China Import and Export Fair.
Other sections are important areas for lighting; the extension of lighting is not overlooked, conveying light through the bridge structure at night, reflecting the main theme of the event: "The Belt and Road Initiative"
