With the opening of the two-story connecting corridor at Lianhua Road Metro Station in Shanghai's Puxi area, the Southern Business District of Meilong Town, a traditional commercial center in Shanghai, faces a critical issue: a shortage of nighttime consumption options despite existing demand. To address this, the goal is to seize the opportunities of the night-time economy, create a brand-new comprehensive commercial circle, and strive to match the standards of city-level commercial centers such as Nanjing Road, Huaihai Road, Xujiahui, and Lujiazui.
The plan centers around Bailian Southern Shopping Center as the core, radiating to surrounding areas to create a comprehensive complex encompassing offices, commercial spaces, entertainment, and leisure. To achieve this vision, we have developed a nighttime artistic lighting design plan for the Southern Business District of Meilong Town.
The artistic design concept for "Meilong Heart":
Meilong. The shape is derived from the letter "M", and the design takes inspiration from the plum blossom, a symbol of Meilong. The design is like finding plum blossoms in the snow, with blossoms blooming everywhere.
